Pet Monitor is a health monitor for pets. The app works without a user account, without advertising and without tracking. The provider runs no servers of its own and never gains access to your entries.

You enter: animals and their master data, daily entries (food, medication, stool, weight, temperature, wellbeing, notes and more), vaccination records, vet visits, photos and attached documents. This data is stored on your device.
There are no user accounts and no registration. The provider runs no servers and receives no copy of your data. There is no tracking, no analytics and no advertising.
If you switch on the iCloud features, data leaves the device – see the two sections below.
On iPhone and iPad you can enable sync across your devices. It is off by default. When active, your data is stored in your own iCloud via your Apple ID (Apple iCloud Drive and Apple CloudKit) and synced between your devices.
Apple processes this data as the iCloud provider; Apple's Privacy Policy applies. The provider of this app has no access to your iCloud. A local copy stays on the device so the app works offline.
When sync is active, Apple notifies your devices of changes via silent push so the app can update itself. Nothing is displayed, and no data is sent to the provider.
The Android version offers no cloud sync and no sharing.
You can share a single animal with other people – a partner, family, or a pet sitter. You send an invitation through Apple's built-in sharing (CloudKit share).
Sharing happens solely between the Apple IDs involved. Here too, the provider has no access and receives no copy.
Processing on the device is carried out by you alone. For optional iCloud sync and sharing, the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by switching the respective feature on and withdrawable at any time by switching it off. Data is kept until you delete it or remove the app.
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As the provider stores none of your data, you exercise these rights directly in the app: everything can be viewed, changed, deleted and exported as an Excel file or PDF.
The purchase of the app is handled entirely by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. The provider does not receive any payment data.
You can delete individual entries, photos or entire animals in the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. To delete data held in iCloud, delete the animals in the app before uninstalling, or remove the app's iCloud storage under Apple ID → iCloud in the iOS settings. For shared animals, also end the share – otherwise the invited people keep their copy.
The app is not directed at children and does not collect data from children.
